COMMENTS:
On the ground there's a line he hasn't crossed; in the background, there's (1) a bridge he hasn't gone over and (2) a castle (his destination) that he hasn't reached.
He's focusing on the three spilled cups (loss); he has turned his back on the two cups that are still upright.
Why is he holding his cloak up to his face? Is he wiping away tears? Or hiding them from others?
The Five of Cups tells you (gently): "Grieving time is over. You need to move on."
