My Eulogy
Someday I'll be dead. They'll put my corpse into a coffin, and there will be a ceremony ... a funeral .... a final opportunity for relatives and friends to say goodbye to me.
The high point of the funeral will be when somebody stands up to give a eulogy. It may be a relative, or it may be a minister. He will tell of my life, and my education, and my accomplishments, and my children. I hope he's kind to me, but I don't have any control over what he'll say.
But whatever he says about me, whether he talks for two minutes or for thirty minutes ... more than anything else, I want him to say, at some point during his speech,
