By the way ... who says you can have only one Craft name? Edain McCoy, author of Inside a Witches' Coven, says that you can have one Craft name that you give out, and another one that's just between you and the Goddess, one that you use in spellwork.
Eke-name: In early English, the word eke meant "also." The expression "eke-name" - "an eke-name" - was corrupted to "nickname" (which is where we get this term). In linguistics, this is called "re-bracketing."
